Launch of the 2023 Labour Force Survey Report

The Tonga Statistics Department proudly launched the latest Labour Force Survey Report on Thursday, 19 December 2024. The Labour Force Survey provides critical insights into the employment landscape of Tonga, including data on employment rates, unemployment, and labour market trends. The launch event highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Tonga Statistics Department, the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, and donor partners such as the International Labour Organization, the Pacific Community (SPC), and the World Bank (WB) through its Statistical Innovation and Capacity Building in Tonga (SICBT) Project.
