Today, on the 28th October 2022, the Tonga Statistics Department (TSD) celebrated a key milestone of launching the Housing and Population Census 2021 Volume 1 Report with the presence of the guest of honor, the Prime Minister and the Minister responsible for the Statistics Department, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku, other Ministers and Chief Executive Officers, along with other guests and staff from the Statistics Department.
This report provides a snapshot of where Tonga’s population was at midnight of 30th November 2021, as well as critical information required by planners, and policy and decision makers.
