The Tonga Statistics Department is pleased to announce the release of the Tonga Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2024 Key Findings Snapshot and the Tonga MICS 2024 Findings Report.

The Department gratefully acknowledges the generous financial and technical support provided by UNICEF, the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and the Government of Tonga. Their valued partnership and commitment were instrumental in the successful implementation of the Tonga MICS 2024, the completion of the survey, and the publication of these reports.

These publications present the key findings and comprehensive results of the Tonga MICS 2024 survey, providing valuable insights to support evidence-based planning, policy development, and informed decision-making across Tonga.

The Key Findings Snapshot provides a concise overview of the survey’s main results, while the Full Findings Report offers a detailed analysis and interpretation of the survey data. We invite government agencies, development partners, researchers, civil society organizations, and the general public to explore these reports and utilize the findings to better understand the wellbeing of Tonga’s population and help inform the future policies and development initiatives.
