Media Release of Tonga 2021 Census of population and housing: Constituency Reports
The Tonga Statistics Department (TSD) is pleased to announce the release of the 2021 Census of Population and Housing: Constituency Reports. These reports provide detailed information on the demographic, social and economic characteristics of the population and households in each of the 17 electoral constituencies in Tonga using the Census Population and housing data 2021. The reports also include maps and charts to illustrate the spatial distribution and trends of key indicators.
The census covered all persons who were present in Tonga on the night of November 30, 2021, and it collected information on various topics such as age, sex, marital status, education, employment, housing conditions, access to services and facilities, disability, and ethnicity and so on.
The reports are intended to serve as a valuable source of information for policy makers, planners, researchers, development partners and the public.
