The Government Statistics was and is still taking the lead in carrying in-depth studies of POVERTY in Tonga, looking into the best approach to best measure poverty in Tonga. And have found and believe that the Bristol approach is the best suite.
Though working closely with lecturers and researchers to determine this and presenting it in the Forum for the Government Statisticians that first time host in the kingdom in 2016. With a open discussion open to invited participants mostly head of economic divisions from various ministries.
